Do You Love Singing?
I teach complete beginners of all ages, basic vocal performance and how to approach song interpretation. A warm up commences all lessons (breathing exercises, tongue twisters, sirens, scales, followed by free choice of song. This will include looking at different genres, artists, song lyric and meaning.
Singers can consolidate their technique and expand their repertoire. This results in producing a personal repertoire of songs that are ready to air...

The London College of Music (LCM - University of West London) is one of the largest specialist Music and Performing Arts institutes in the UK. It has a long history of music education dating back to 1887. These commence with Step1 through to grade8/ diploma (teaching) in both Music Theatre and Pop Recital.
LCM’s graded and diploma qualifications make a distinctive contribution to education in and through music, and speech, drama and communication, because of the emphasis placed upon the following combination of characteristics:
MAT - Music Aptitude Test - Sessions available for any child requesting tuition before the entrance test.
creative thinking;
practical skills either independent of literacy, or related to it
encouragement to think, both technically and critically, about the repertoire performed in practical examinations
a distinctively broad stylistic range, as reflected in tasks, repertoire
the provision of assessment in areas not traditionally included within the scope of graded examinations

The vocal exams can be taken in either Music Theatre or Pop. - 100% pass rate and achieving 99% distinctions). These are optional to all singers.
